Greetings to all far and near:
Slick Fifty Seven has made it home for the holidays
after a triumphant run of the midwest with our
brothers of blood, The Von Ehrics.
The beds of the EDT have never felt so good on our
aching backs... Don't get me wrong, though! Weeks of
sleeping on van benches and hard wood floors in sub
zero weather is my favorite! I just love it! Its
almost like waffer sundaes w/ syrup, but better....But
fer real, beds are nice too.
In other news:
Slick 57 enters the studio on January 8th under the
guidance of Stuart Sikes (White Stripes, Modest Mouse,
Loretta Lynn) to create the uncreatable. Wish us luck
and we'll be back someday.
Heavy international touring will commence after our
collection of country punk freedom rock is
successfully completed and released.
Until then, keep an eye out for upcoming live
performances in the greater southwest USA.
